Weatherall is light on the first coat. Let it dry and brush on again. This is intended to give more variety on a fence or structure since nothing weathers in a uniform manner. It’s a good idea to weather the wood before assembly so any glue in the wrong place won’t leave raw wood that can’t be weathered.I like to add grain to the wood with the side of a hobby saw and then some fine sandpaper to remove the “fuzz.” Then with a sharp pencil you can press in some dimples to suggest nails. A little Rustall run down from the “nails” is very effective. (Best to do this before assembly if possible.)The signage on the side of the truck bed is dry transfer over Weatherall and given a white wash overall.
