What working pressure is best for this product? Airbrushing at 20-40 PSI. 30 PSI is optimal. What size of nozzle should I use? We recommend 0.2 for more control, for instance while performing pre-shading with white and black colours, and a nozzle 0.3 or greater for faster priming. Do I need to add airbrush thinner to spray the primer? No, the product has the viscosity set at 40 cSt. which is ideal for airbrushing. What’s the drying time? Dry to touch in around 20-40 minutes, when naturally drying we recommend letting the primer “breath” for at least 2h before applying a paint coat. Drying can be sped up while force drying (hair dryer) and a primer coat will be dry to touch in under 3 minutes. Wait 30 minutes before applying paint after you force dry. What agent to use to clean my tools after using the varnish? Product is cleaned up very easily. Fresh primer can be flushed away form your airbrush with just the tap water. For dried up residue we recommend VMS Airbrush Cleaners Pro Acrylic. Use an airbrush cleaner after every 3-5 painting sessions. What is the shelf life of the product? The shelf life is at least 36 months, longer if stored in cool and dark place. Don’t store in temperatures below 5 °C or in direct sunlight!
