First introduced in April 1941, Germany’s Bf109 F-series (also known as ‘Friedrich’), introduced some notable improvements, with the F2 receiving the 1350bhp DB 601E engine, which required a redesign of the nose and was also the first to mount the 15mm Mauser MG 151 cannon. Revell’s detailed model features full cockpit with seated pilot, undercarriage & moveable 3-blade propeller with spinner.
