In the early stages of WWII, supporting the German Blitzkrieg from the air was the Junker JU-87 Stuka. This is a plastic assembly model kit of the JU-87 G-2, an air-to-ground attack aircraft which was equipped with two 37mm cannons and was actively used at the Russian front. The powerful style of the Stuka, otherwise known as The Bird with Big Guns by German officers and soldiers, is accurately remodelled. The 37mm cannons which knocked out Russian heavy tanks have a precise finish. Kit includes decals to depict the aircraft which was piloted by Colonel Rudel, The Greatest Russian Foe, and destroyed 519 tanks and over 800 armoured vehicles.
