The Lockheed F-104G Starfighter was a single engined, Mach 2 capable fighter-bomber flown by the German Air Force from 1962 to 1991. ‘G’ version Starfighters featured strengthened fuselage and wings, increased internal fuel capacity, strengthened undercarriage and revised flaps for improved combat manoeuvring, enlarged vertical fin, plus many other improvements. Revell’s detailed model features cockpit with ejection seat, full undercarriage, airbrakes and both wingtip/underwing mounted external fuel tanks.
