Revell 03916 1/72 C-160 Transall “Eloka”

With production starting in 1963 for the German and French airforce, the C-160 Transall cargo & troop transport aircraft has had a venerable flight history. In an effort to protect German ISAF troops deployed to Afghanistan, a small number of Luftwaffe ‘D’ variants were converted to ‘ESS’ standard with a self-protection suite. The French ‘NG’ (new generation) variant features an additional fuel tank for increased range and was updated to enable in-flight refuelling. Revell’s detailed model includes parts for both variants and features full cockpit and cargo bay, undercarriage can be shown retracted or extended, cargo ramp can be shown lowered or closed, detailed engines of a choice of propeller type, and in-flight refuelling probe (NG only).
