Entering operational service with the RAF in 2003, the Eurofighter Typhoon is a canard-winged design powered by two EJ200 turbojets that can push it to a maximum speed of 1.8Mach (1,381mph). First conceived as an air superiority fighter, it has since been modified to perform ground-attack missions, making it a true swing-role fighter. Revell’s kit features fine surface detail, with detailed cockpit interior and undercarriage. Marking this centenary year of the founding of the Royal Air Force, this kit also sports a special 75th anniversary colour scheme as originally applied to the Hawker Hurricane of Battle-of-Britain Victoria Cross recipient, Flight Lieutenant James Nicolson.
