In an unexpected manoeuvre, Airfix is thrilled to unveil the return of the 1:48 scale Supermarine Seafire FX.XVII with three new schemes!
Having not been in the Airfix fleet for over ten years, the Seafire F.XVII makes an explosive comeback with a trio of fresh liveries and 134 parts.
Distinguished by its cut-down rear fuselage and captivating tear drop-style canopy, the XVII stands apart from its predecessors in the Seafire lineage.
Its wings, bolstered by reinforcements, have gained the capacity to bear a greater armament, with the option to deploy fuel tanks and rockets beneath. Once a prominent frontline contender until the early 1950s, it was subsequently relegated to the realm of training duties.
