Type VII U-boats were produced from 1940 to 1945, with the Type VII C being the most numerous of the German Navy’s submarines. Introduced in 1943, 91 Type VII C/41 boats were manufactured and featured stronger pressure hulls, allowing them to dive to depths of up to 250 metres! Revell’s finely detailed model features twin 20mm and single 37mm anti-aircraft cannon, larger ‘wintergarten’ (winter garden) bridge and snorkel mast to take in fresh air and for fume extraction. A display stand is also included.
