The German Army started to update their Marder fleet to 1A3 standard in 1988, and this included improved armour, strengthened suspension, improved brakes, a revision of hatch layout, changes to the turret and heating system. Revell’s model features a rotating turret, with elevating auto-cannon, an MG3 machine gun and ‘Milan’ anti-tank missile with night vision unit attached, plus detailed hull, running gear and vinyl tracks.
