1/35 Sd.Kfz.186 Jagdtiger Porsche Production Dragon 6925

Dragon enjoyed an enthusiastic response to its recently released Jagdpanther 2-in-1 kit (Item No. 6758), and so it’s time to apply the same treatment to the even more formidable Jagdtiger. The first 11 Jagdtigers employed a Porsche suspension system that used a paired external torsion bar suspension system with eight single road wheels, while subsequent vehicles employed a Henschel suspension design. Dragon’s new 1/35 scale 2-in-1 kit depicts just such a Jagdtiger with the earlier Porsche suspension system. The 2-in-1 descriptor applies because modelers can make a vehicle either with Zimmerit or without that special textured anti-magnetic layer. Thus there are two complete upper hulls (with fighting superstructure), lower hulls and rear plates in the box both with and without the characteristic Zimmerit pattern. Should a modeler opt for the Zimmerit version, they’ll find that the pattern is made to a master’s standard. This is an impressive kit, and the option of a textured or standard surface makes it even more desirable!
