The Bell UH-1C was a dedicated short-fuselage ‘gunship’ variant of the famous ‘Huey’ transport helicopter, first developed in the early 1960s for the US military. It featured an uprated engine, improved rotor head and rotor blades to enable it to carry a wide range of offensive weapons in support of transport helicopters and ground forces. Revell’s highly detailed model recreates the ‘Hog’ in all its menacing glory with a fully detailed cockpit with alternate parts options, doors can be positioned opened or closed, there’s a choice of rocket pods, miniguns with flexible ammunition feeds and 40mm nose-mounted grenade launcher!
