03928, Heinkel He219 A-0/A-2 Nightfighter
Designed specifically for the German Luftwaffe as a nightfighter, the He219 ‘Uhu’ (Eagle Owl) entered service in June 1943. It was also special in being the first operational military aircraft to be fitted with ejection seats and proved to be an excellent combat aircraft. Revell’s model features finely detailed mouldings, separately moulded landing flaps and rudder, rotating propellers and antennas for both FuG 218 and 220 radar systems.
