In 1968, Ford achieved great success once again with the GT40 at the legendary Le Man’s race, which is considered the most challenging road race in the world. The GT40 emerged victorious in the overall competition in 1968 and continued its winning streak by claiming another victory in 1969. This meant that the GT40 had won the 24 Hours race four times in a row.
