Revell 07049 1/16 VW T1 KastenwagenDeveloped from 1950 onwards and based on their iconic Beetle chassis, Volkswagen’s T1 transporter van has
been produced in massive numbers and exported all round the world. Its distinctive v-shaped front end and
split screen design is instantly recognisable! It featured an air-cooled 4 cylinder engine developing 30bhp
which gave a top speed of 50mph (80km/h). Revell’s detailed model depicts a 1960s era support vehicle of the
Porsche Race Service and features multi-part bodywork with opening doors and tailgate. The cab and load bay
are also faithfully reproduced. A complete replica T1 boxer engine is also included and can be viewed once
complete. The kit additionally includes chromed plastic hub caps and VW emblem, door handles and
windscreen wipers.
