The Class 214 is an export version of the Class 212, only lacking some of its secret technology. It is however still highly effective and uses a diesel propulsion drive system for standard running, plus an air-independent propulsion (AIP) system which allows for extended quiet running, making this sub very hard to detect, whilst also being able to dive to depths close to 400 metres! Revell’s detailed model includes moveable diving planes, clear parts for navigation lights and a display stand.
