Commissioned into the German Kriegsmarine’s fleet in February 1941, Tirpitz, along with sister-ship Bismarck, was the largest battleship of the Second World War. She was eventually sunk by Lancasters of the RAF in November 1944. Revell’s waterline model features a detailed deck, gun turrets and ship’s cranes. The ship is depicted as she appeared at Altafjord, Norway, in July-September, 1942.
